Paid with money from different FY.Canberra TT.18 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 11:35 amBut is it paid with 22 money? My understanding always was that the fy relates to money from the fiscal year (October 1- September 30) the specific aircraft is paid with. And every fiscal year money was budgeted to pay for F-35s, also in 21.Starfighter_F-104G wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 10:05 amLot14 FY20
Lot15 FY22
NO FY21 serials because Lot15 has been signed during FY22
Never knew fy was related to dates of signing of contracts.
Also FY16 serials are missing
F-35 LRIP IX & LRIP X was a contract covering TWO years

Any more deliveries due this year? Going by info from the very informative "Lakenheath back to full strength" thread, & assuming twenty severn aircraft per squadron. LN is still awaiting one more for the 495th & twelve for the 493rd.

I normally look at F16.net and also others do post when a new F35A has flow at DFW. It's been a while since anything has changed so not sure what is going on production wise! https://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/ ... /USAF/406/

All USAF F-35A deliveries are on hold until the latest TR-3 software upgrade is signed off and tested. It's behind schedule, so comments elsewhere are saying deliveries will not re-start until around spring 2024.colp wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 10:10 amI normally look at F16.net and also others do post when a new F35A has flow at DFW. Sounds like they are still building the F-35A at the same rate so must be a big back log at the factory of stored new aircraft.

There hasn't been a new USAF F-35A fly since August so don't expect a delivery anytime soon...

As there is a pause in deliveries until the Block 4/TR-3 version of the F-35A is available.. would this likely mean the earlier deliveries to LN will eventually be swapped out with newer TR-3 aircraft? Seem to remember they replaced the early delivery F-15E with newer builds at least once.

Unlike the F15E the F35 will be a plug in, update and go. So shouldn’t need any jets replacing.NorvilleRogers wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 8:39 amAs there is a pause in deliveries until the Block 4/TR-3 version of the F-35A is available.. would this likely mean the earlier deliveries to LN will eventually be swapped out with newer TR-3 aircraft?
