Oregon F-15's

Post by andrewn » Thu Mar 02, 2017 7:40 am

So somebody has to ask the obvious questions....

Why are they here? How long are they stopping for?
Where were at least 4 of them off to at 6am today?

:)

As Bollo has said, All information can be found in this thread,

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=142635

Basically they are not staying very long and 4 would have already gone this morning had the flightplan not been cancelled to cross France,

What confused me was the references to the jets "staying for a couple of weeks" - obviously not and they are heading eastbound asap. I get it now. Thanks, Nick

Maybe a silly question but of the 6 that I understand arrived does anyone want to share a list of which ones they actually were?
Its hard enough trying to see anything these days but even harder if the serials are not listed

All the info is in the Heads Up section. They tried to go early this morning but the departure time kept slipping, until they decided to call it a day.

The thread I referred to is a third of the way down page two in the Heads Up section, the title is Trend Flight etc.
This is where the more local guys from this forum tend to post what is happening in real time, rather than in this Lakenheath section. Whether it makes sense or not is another matter but Heads Up is where they post and therefore the place to look for the latest info. And they do a good job in my opinion.

I should have added that putting everything that is happening today/now in the Heads Up section avoids having to search individual sections/bases, so it is a logical thing to do.

I have been following this and the heads up thread but things seem to have gone quiet on both. I assume this aircraft have moved on?
