It was quite dark when the last 6 arrived.

No - just a camera and cross checking other reports. No problem just wanting to make sure you logged the right serial.

Will they be up and about tomorrow (Tuesday) do we think?

Any ideas how long they are staying? Can't seem to open the link on the other thread.

PS spoke to a couple of peeps on the hill at Lakenheath who were unaware of the field access restriction on the 1065.

Reported the unit is expected to further deploy into Europe in a couple of weeks but to return to Lakenheath in time to participate in the D-Day commemorations in early June. Next two weeks look likely to be most active at LN.

Also rumours of a couple of extra jets turning up including a FM jet wearing D-Day markings?

How nice would it be if they paid a visit to LFA7. I know they are here for DACT but I hope weather over north sea is bad for 1 day so they have to fight it out further west

on the right still possible or is it the long walk up the road to the verge , as not a local and don't want to cause any hassle to anyone ? Cheers for any help

Hi Phill

As per nearbyegym's post above... it sounds like tbey are parked up outside and visable from the A1065 grass verge.

Remember not to go in the field... restrictions are in place due to nesting birds.

Should be flying tomorrow I guess?

do you think the makos will fly tomorrow or are they resting 48 hours and start flying on Wednesday?

Would think any pilots that arrived with the support last week will do any flying tomorrow.Don't think I heard any code 3's when they called in with their inbound calls so fingers crossed should be good to go ?

2 are visible from Maidcross Hill, just behind the control Tower (259 and 244). Today was my first time at this location though so im not sure if there are better places on the hill to view them from.

Any information on were to park on the Brandon Road to view them would be valuable, I had a slow drive past were they are but nowhere really seemed like a decent place to park up?

The airlines are very lenient these days lol
