Not sure if I should ask, but did anyone note the CV-22's on the ramp today, plus the KC-10, RS C-130 and what looked like an Alabama KC-135.

KC-10 (87-0119, 79-0434)These 2 were down by the Alabama KC-135.

KC-10 (84-0192, 78-1949) These 2 landed around 2.45pm after bringing in the MO's to Lakenheath.


Only managed to get one of the Ospreys (12-0064)

Think what you saw was the full colour Michigan ANG tanker which ties up as 60-0345.

At teatime the visiting KC135s noted were

60-0345 Michigan
59-1474 Michigan
62-3554 unmarked
? KC135 Arizona

Can anyone advise which two tankers were closest to the road behind the tower, also what MC-130 were present with the SOW.

There were 3 MC-130 s on the ramp at lunchtime, 12-5760, 08-6205 and 09-6207

The RS C-130J was 08-3176

Ospreys 0042 and 0063 read around 06.30am before the haze… 0042 then went to Coningsby a few hours later for a few circuits.

FYI John.... I posted the following in the Reach section for today, 29th.

RCH196 KC135 59-1474 fl390 departed Mildenhall now over the coast of Holland heading southeast 13:17BST

So that's another KC135 gone by 3:30PM

Osprey 0033 was also there with 0042/0063, but no others readable in the haze this afternoon.

Just one to confirm for Friday 29th please if anyone can throw any light on it. There was a McGuire KC10 parked North of RWY 11 and a few hundred metres away from the tower, with steps up to it. I have deduced that this could have been 79-0434. But i don't want to guess wrong. Can anyone confirm/deny or tell me what it was. Thank you in advance.
