15:00 Hangar 772 is wide open and both Army Apaches can be read off

ZM703 and ZM712 easy to read in the afternoon sun

Well pleased with that

(Thanks CJ)

Wednesday

The hangar door is partially open

ZM712 is on the left and ZM703 is on the right

Therefore today I reckon you can see the tail of ZM703

C-17s are large enough for 2 x AH-64s to be transported inside with the tail rotors and stub wings still fitted.

UK roads are NOT big enough for this, so they have to be removed for ROAD transport.

Cheers Tom. Didn’t think they would fit in the 17 with them on :thumb:

These could be departing today, at the moment there are British Army working on them, there is a crane there and 2 wide load escort vehicles have just arrived outside the hangar

Very happy they have taken their time slogen, gave me the chance to see them today 😁
Have to thank you for the directions on where to see them from too 👍
And, if the man who told me that they were visible is on here, a thank you too. I was the one you stared at in my car for ages before I realised you were there 😆
