Mildenhall Qatar Eagles running? 3/6

Post by slogen51 » Fri Jun 03, 2022 11:25 am

12:24 Valor 21 told that if the F-15s are still running then they may have to taxy a different way?

Assume they are checking the F-15QA don't have flat batteries after sitting on the ground for so long

Sorry for the late reply - just driven two hours to Surrey again - I don't know is the not so short answer

40083 C-21 departed from 10 and ground taxied him to ' avoid passing in front of the eagles' - I would have thought the rear end of a hot eagle is the bit you want to avoid unless the chock jumping is the worry.

id suggest that would be an "anti deterioration run " just to keep everything exercised and keep the oil in the right places..

Probably , they have been there for ages although I can't say if there were any LN eagles also in Mildenhall that day.

17-020 and 17-021 F-15QA

Looks like Gold 12 has come in to take them away according to other posts on FC

Judging by the noise over the house that woke me and reports in heads up, both F-15QA have departed this morning with Gold 12

This 4+2 delivery style probably suits Boeing because they can say ' look we have delivered another two on time ' without having to worry about the vagaries of an Atlantic crossing. I assume they gave them a wash before final delivery to the customer
