Rummy 71 and 72 with fighters

Post by sandybenzies » Wed Jan 11, 2023 9:28 am

KC10 84-0186 and KC135 57-2605 were tracking on FR24 over Fife out of Mildenhall as Rummy 71 and 72 respectively at around 0912 this morning. Seen from Edinburgh, it looked as if six fighters were accompanying the lead aircraft, so if anyone can tie these up I'd be very grateful.
Best wishes

Thanks Mike - it's not clear from that thread if Jest 11-16 are with Rummy 71/72 or with Rummy 61, which FR24 shows as well out over the ocean! If they were out of Spangdahlem at 0700Z then I'm not sure it would have taken them over two hours to get to eastern Scotland. I'll have a look at the Spangdahlem thread.
