Seems a pretty reliable source mate - I think it’s inevitable but we shall see, saw this earlier:

I'm guessing the chance of seeing a Tonka flying through Mach Loop then, might be zero? :'(
I have only one weekday off next in Feb. Fingers crossed will chance a visit to Marham, take a chance at maybe catching a beauty for the last time.

The ban on RAF flying in the Mach Loop is still on.

I'm going to a lecture with 93(EA) Sqn on Wednesday, hopefully some other blue suiters will be there. Willing to share some info :ninja:

Looks like the Faceache rumour mill is in full swing.

Certain individuals are saying you need to catch them will you can, they will be gone far sooner than the end of March....

None of these individuals seem to have any credibility mind you (from what i can see), be interesting to see what actually happens in the coming weeks.

For an absolute fact they will be flying upto the 15th of March possibly slightly beyond that too.

However none will fly after the 31st of March, any movements after this date will be done by Road only.

That all makes perfect sense, I think it was just some 'scare mongering'.

Thanks

Can we expect a few to be earmarked for preservation or is the whole fleet looking like it'll be stripped for parts and hulks crushed?

 I'm not too sure about the roads up there but does this mean a chance of a very low level pass around the MachLoop?

Most of the remaining fleet are earmarked for preservation. I would hesitate to bet most of the painted specials will be in the preserved lot.

Apparently the disbandment parade for the Tornado force is Thursday 14th March.

Again, it's a post from a single person on the Fighter Control Facebook Group that has caused complete bedlam on there - Without sounding harsh, I am yet to see or hear anything from any official source, or credible site? Just one single post and everyone believes it...

Is it the same person that has posted on the Marham spotters group?

Apologies for being a bit daft. Does the disbandment mean all tornados will cease flying from that point or is that an official way of saying they are no longer actively operational?

Cheers

I think that this post answers your question, Chris.
