Should be 10, think the 4 on PWLS flew back.

Article in UK Defence Journal quotes Defence Procurement minister and First Sea Lord on how many F35B'we will end up with. Although from this it could be anything from 48 to 80, although the figure of 138 "is still there". https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/uk-abso ... f-35-jets/

8 on the Queen Elizabeth

Can anyone advise if ZM156 - 158 have flown since their arrival and, if UK F-35 operations are currently paused, please?
Thanks,
Freeman

A post like this deserves a promotion from Captain Obvious to Major Obvious, I think. Congratulations!

At the time of posting 8 was the correct number. Since the loss this week there are now 7.

Thanks Chris. I did look there before I posted and have looked there again, but still cannot find mention of the 3 a/c I asked about. So my two questions still stand, I'm afraid.

Sorry, my response was to the "if UK F-35 operations are currently paused", to which they've been flying all this week. Unless they were paused with effect from this morning, of course!

Base was closed today, not because of what happened this week.

No, it'll probably have to wait till the other 7 fly home to Marham.
