From the EDP

The display, which departs from RAF Scampton at 3.45pm, is part of the base's Families Day.

' base's ' is obsolete here because the subject in the article is Marham so part of the families day will do

Any reason why there's a upside-down red plane on runway 06?

Edit: it the right way up now

There was supposed to be an Osprey on the ground and also noted in the flying display list but no one seemed to know what happened to it.

Rolls Royce Spitfire heading towards Marham

'

Uh ?

I thought (Griffon or Merlin), they wuz ALL 'Rolls-Royce', ain't they = No ?

Is there a Napier Sabre, Bristol-Hercules or Centaurus engined version then, that I'm not (as yet) aware of ?

Jesting aside, "What Did I Miss" by NOT bothering to go ????

P.47 Thunderbolt ? "Sally.B ?" - Last time I went, they had the "Blue Avro Anson" turn-up & some French Me.108 "lookalike" - (soz, don't know it's title/name)

Figured that it might be just the usual Grey pointy-stuff that I see over my house/area on a very-regular basis.

Did they have a/any KC.135's there, either 'on static' or passing through ?

.

Hi Hornchurch.
