Post by markranger » Mon Apr 12, 2010 7:24 am

Good morning.

Does anyone know what SQNS are at Marham at the moment.

Also are the 8 jets still out in the us?

Thanks

Marham is very quiet and i dont see it getting any busier until Lossiemouth take over in Afghanistan.

I was at Marham Wednesday evening for a lecture and from 6.30pm till 9.00ish there was 1 movement :'(

A XIII sqn call sign was on Holbeach last week first time i've heard one since they went to states so could mean they are due home soon?

2 Sqdn are on leave i believe, as they take over from 9 Sqdn in Afghanistan this week or next week

9 Sqdn are in Afghanistan, so will have a good couple of weeks R+R, when they get back.

31 Sqdn are home or they may have taken over from 13 Sqdn in the States?

13 Sqdn should be back from the USA, this week if not already.

Cheers
Gareth

Anyone heard Cobra (13 Sqdn) recently? Marham Sqdn callsigns for members who arent sure :

2 Sqdn : Spartan, Chieftain, Sultan, Valkyrie

9 Sqdn : Batman, Fang, Tirpitz, Bulkhead, Vegas (i think this one is an exerise callsign? is it still in use?)

13 Sqdn : Cobra , Lancer, Mantis, Tribal

31 Sqdn : Voodoo, Rocket, Monster

Cheers
