I was reminded today that the rumoured extra Typhoons are yet to arrive from Lossiemouth (or have they arrived?)
I thought they were due from Lossie on the 19 June?

The flypast isn't until 10th July, with practices in early July, wouldn't have thought they would come down this early.
Cheers

I think the amount of jets needed for the 100 formation is in the mid to high 20's, unsure of how many jets will come down from Lossie.

Thanks for the updates
I had heard a lot more than 4 jets but time will tell.

Looks like they have reduced the number of aircraft required for the "100" formation from 26 to 21. However they should want to spread the content across all squadrons.

Be nice to see some RAF Typhoons with markings. Might have to alert the ladder

Please correct me if I’m incorrect 21 aircraft to make the 100 where are currently 7 squadrons 1, 2,3,6,11,29,and 41
That’s 3 from each so poss looking at 9 from lossie plus 6 spares, probably not how is going to pan out but just a stab in the
dark,
Looking forward to seeing what happens,
Steve.

Would this number of aircraft in formation require a NOTAM ?
Also after forming up over the north sea is the formation expected to pass over CBY ?

I have heard there is supposed to be a practice tomorrow, but I can't see anything official, no NOTAMs and cant see anything on the NATS site, does any one have any other info or evidence to confirm or deny?

Use EGTT as the identifier, instead of EGXC

Is the training for the flypast completed? Whats the chance of another practise round on July 9th?
