Has an exact date been known in previous years?

The Lanc has only done flypasts to date which I don't think requires a PDA?

Exact date has been known previously, but the NOTAMs for typhoon display practices now have a big window, where as before they were only 30 mins, so not as easy.

I would think it's next week, if it hasn't happened already.

Thanks for this info reaper. I assume this is for Typhoon and BBMF ? I'll book the day off tomorrow.

I presume BBMF and Typhoon will do it the same day, they normally do, unless BBMF have issues - but all a/c appear serviceable.

Week long NOTAM issued:

H3016/22 - ONE FAST JET CONDUCTING HIGH-ENERGY MANOEUVRES WI 5NM RADIUS:
530535N 0001000W (CONINGSBY AD, LINCOLNSHIRE). ACFT WILL CONDUCT
ONE HIGH PERFORMANCE CLIMB TO 10000FT AMSL. ACFT MAY NOT BE ABLE
TO COMPLY WITH RAC. FOR INFO 01526 347716 / 01526 347959. PILOTS
IN THE AREA REQUIRING AN UPDATE ON CURRENT ACTIVITY AND STATUS OF
DISPLAY ACFT SHOULD CONTACT CONINGSBY ATC ON 119.200MHZ.
2022-05-0569/AS1. SFC - 10000FT AMSL, 0700-1600, 23 MAY 07:00 2022 UNTIL 27

Is there likely to be any road closures/parking restrictions on Thursday for PDA ? Mainly on Old Fen Lane. If so I'll take my bike and leave my car in the viewing area .Also any known display times would be a great help. Thanks in advance for any info.

One of the bomber pilots has just departed Waddo in an E3, so either PDA is not today, or he's not going to be a display pilot this year?

No - are any of the BBMF aircraft parked out? That's normally a good sign.

Believe the BBMF PDA is planned for later in the day, how ever the winds could be out of limits, potentially curtailing todays plans.

Even if the BBMF are grounded, is Anarchy 01 due up today. Had a performance departure earlier on. Also is Blackjack on base?
