Early morning visit was very productive, all Prefects on base were seen:
ZM300, 301, 305, 306, 311, 312, 313, 314, 316 were all towed out of the hangar.
ZM317 stayed behind in there.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Could you tell me the appr time of your visit?
Planning to go there early monday next week.
Assume that you can look inside the hangar (if open) from the parking spots at the gate?

Elmar - the times I've been there, one end of the hgr has been open - from the ramp end you can look into the (airfield) right side & if there are any Grobs there you can usually get the last two's from the tail.
You can see if any are in the middle or left but cannot see the tails to read them.
If the other end is open then view is not as good, but you can see the same (airfield) side (left side from this end) & I've seen & read one from here.
If you look at ADSB, both BKH & Cranwell start flying 08.00>08.15 most days, so if you are just after serials then a visit to both by that time is best. They tend to be fairly active after then
so a visit later in the day may only see one to three on the line with the rest flying. If you're happy to stay at the fence for an hour or two then you should see them all eventually.
Good luck with your visit.

That’s indeed the spot where we were. We arrived around 7 o’clock, they just started towing out the aircraft.
