Wrapped hangared Prefect at Barkston Heath

Post by Rupert » Sun Dec 06, 2020 2:25 pm

On October 15, I noted a Tutor in the back of the hangar at B.H. wrapped in plastic, apparently out of use.
Does anyone know which one it would be ?

The only a/c I have not seen reported flying during October /November is ZM320.

Thanks for any help.

Ed

Do you mean a "Tutor", as you wrote in both the Subject and the text, or a "Prefect" which is the serial number you quoted?

Curiosly, I've not seen ZM311 for quite some time. I checked my SBS logs and I cant find a single entry for months. Does anyone know if this might be the one?

If you search FC, the last reported sighting is March 20.

Anyone have any more news on this? I’ve still not noticed ZM311 out and about.

Reported elsewhere that it suffered a bird strike and was noted in the hangar at Barkston minus cockpit canopy in October last year.

Can OP change Tutor to Prefect in subject header.

He hasn't logged on since 21/12, best to report the 1st post and ask a nice mod to do it. ;)

PLMC,

Confirm you mean ZM311 please?

The original poster stated possibly ZM320, but I’m convinced it’s 311.

Thanks for all the help. The Prefect I noted had plastic over the cockpit, so looks as if was ZM311.

Noted on SBS today @ 15.15hrs was ZM311 as BKH71, so assuming it was using the correct HEX, presumably 311 has been repaired.

All,

out of curiosity i have checked my log, I saw ZM311 on 02/06/20 in the back of the hangar and it appeared to be in non-flying condition.

Regards

Brian

It’s been airborne again fairly frequently according to SBS so assume it’s now fixed. I’ve not eyeballed it yet though.

Still no sign of 320?
