🇺🇦 🌻🇺🇦

When does the move become complete? Will it be October for the start of winter training?

They depart Scampton early September, and go elsewhere for a bit. Theres a dinner planned in the hangar also.

They return to Waddo after their tour is complete.

Believe the old 8sqd building has already been handed over to the Reds.

Training on the newbies has already started.

The reds have one final practice at Scampton before they leave.

Indeed!

I'd heard what they've reported a few months ago but kept quiet for obvious reasons, see what happens over the winter months.

They need to be back up to 9, it lacks something with 7, or at least it did at RIAT.

This is pure speculation, an essential element of FC threads I know, but does the RAF have a large enough pool of pilots possessing the qualities necessary for a 9 ship display team?
Perhaps 7 should become the norm?

Totally agree... I thought the display by the Reds was poor at RIAT... I normally enjoy their display but found it lacking interest... in stark contrast to the Korean Team which I thought was very entertaining, interesting and brought something different to the show.

Let's hope the Reds can get by this and come back strong with a 9 ship and some new displays.
