Car park full at 8.15 this morning,so went to the overflow pretty much just muddy. want to the harmston end layby also full. so home now and i live in Lincoln. To clarify my moan i left the house at 07.30 and it took 45mins to get to waddington. If you know skellingthorpe road you will no what i mean. I was not saying i should get a parking spot because i live in Lincoln.

I just popped up to the Harmston layby very briefly and there was space for at least another 8/9 cars.

The Harmston layby, is that the layby at the S bend (near the crash gate) where waterworks are ongoing?

The chequered red and white vehicle used by 'air traffic control' seen next to the runway in use, the caravan as many call it, does it have a more specialized name? How is it referred to by the RAF?

On google maps street view this lay-by is coned and taped off. To help prep for my near 4hr journey on Monday is this lay-by currently open whilst the ex is on in case i miss parking the WAVE? Thanks in advance.
