Waddington showcasing on instagram Polish vipers for CW 25-1. Looks like a last minute addition.

This is how rumors start - put 2+2 together and make 48
The last post asks what nations you think will be attending, they've just shared photos of the previous exercise, as they do everytime - it's just an attempt at stirring the pot from the social media team.
The CAA doc lists the participants and it hasn't been updated since initial release.

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
Social media confirms it's the three from the document with arrivals starting w/c 17th.
Also has a very nice looking exercise emblem at the end of the video.

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
The last few exercises that I've been too that Turkey has attended have all had three F-16's. Seems thats there standard way of deploying for exercises.

RAF Fairford will host 3 deployments over the next 5 months including 1 BTF in Feb. The base is also expected to host participants of Ramstein Flag 2025 throughout the exercise in March.

Is this part of the exercise?? If not sorry for the poor posting
Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
I don't think it is officially, but would be daft for them to be over here and not do something with the CW aircraft.
Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
Been speaking with one of the farmers down 02 - access is going to be tricky this time.
- They are happy for people to walk down the lane to the crash gate and follow the fence line round to the 02 approach.
- They request that the layby on the base side is closed for parking each year to allow them access to the fields with their large farming machinery, having them open would block their access due to too many cars.
- The difference this time is that they have requested BOTH laybys on tower lane be closed to allow access to the fields (and large concrete parking) on both sides of the road.
The closest legal parking to gain access to the 02 end will be in Waddington Village - Harmston village is an access only/no parking area so that rules that out.
It's a long walk from the closest road in Waddington to the crash gate - 1.8 miles along the A607 and then along tower lane (note Tower lane does not have a footpath so is not very safe to walk along).
There are hay bales all along every gap in the hedge along the A607 and Tower lane and they will only be removed when the farmers work the fields, they have said they will call the police if anyone is seen entering through one of these gaps and walking across the field or even round the edge.
Sad times unfortunately, but with the farmer needing access to the fields to lift the crops it's his only option.

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
The infamous hedge has been cut the whole length of the A15 - right up past the threshold and crash gate and is just above the height of the fence.
Unsure how happy RAF will be if people go past the lights but that remains to be seen.

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
A French chap has joined my Waddington movements page and the Wave page this evening, saying he's from 1/4 Gascogne where the Rafales are coming from.
That's different to the 11F Rafale M listed on the CAA doc - also worth noting the CW patch has 2 Rafale silhouettes on...

Re: Cobra Warrior 25-1
