It was a gamble - looked at the wind & thought fully loaded they'd have to go into it. Made for some nice taxi shots by the A15 as the wing almost swept over our heads!

Did I see a KC135 on departing on 02 about 10 mins after the big bird came in. Was in Bracebridge Heath and looked like one pulling out over the industrial units?

Cheers

I'll check and confirm timings tomorrow - although the area I work with doesn't get to see the operator insignia until it taxy's in!

Was told on Tuesday while on base it's definitely not an Indian one - probably Volga-Dnepr.

Past one car at 9:50am this morning, he was still there at 2 along with 3 other cars. You guys are braver than me lol. Glad to hear its on its way though. Only live 20 miles south but the snow is really bad in the final 5 miles it takes an extra 30 mins to get to Holdingham roundabout.

Very chilly, but worth the wait.

Nice opportunity to chat to a few people as well.

LOL thats ace :) I do miss living on Grantham Road between waddo and BBH :(

On another note, i drove past the camp along the A15 tonight (8:15pm) and all the runway/landing lights were on full beam. I thought that was unusual for a Sunday night near xmas. Granted i rarely drive past it at night but i would have thought i would know if they are on all/most of the time. Any ideas?
