:D Not a problem. (for mistake)
Just wish I had got some inside contacts. I used to have many years ago, but they seem harder to come by nowadays.

LincsVRS - many thanks for your logging efforts. I find them most interesting. Even made the list myself today (17/12) in Cessna 150 G-BAEP during a flight from Humberside to Nottingham City and back again. Routed Gainsborough to Nottingham (and back) working Waddington Zone and had squawk code 3601 both ways. Always find the military radar folks (Waddo, Cby and Marham) super helpful to us puddle jumper pilots.

Oh that's brilliant, thank you very much for taking the time to let me know. I like to get up as often as I can too, although I need to start a just giving fund for my PPL. :-) although I will continue to study. Whenever I have been up with my cousin in his 182 we have always had great service. I am afraid I was not keeping an eye on weather today so hope things were clear for you. Great to have you on the list, I have not made it on there yet! I am really glad you find them interesting, I try and list every aircraft even Civi and LARS only for this very reason. When your next up feel free to send me a message with your aircraft registration, departure and arrival points and a very rough time and I will put you on my alert list for the day, MLAT you where possible and send a quick picture of you on my screen at the end of the day if you so desire :-) but if your not quite as sad as me that's ok too :-)

Oh and if you want to see whats about any time then www.twitter.co.uk/egxwinfo (works if your not on twitter or if you are)

LincsVRS - thanks for the response. Despite what the TAF's were saying about low cloud everywhere never saw a cloud all day! Great day for flying, cold clear air for good engine performance and smooth riding. Coming home down-sun could see for ever, was visual with Humberside Airport from Gainsborough!
Tried your Twitter link but wouldn't let me in without logging in and I am not a Twitter user . Pity. Will try to keep in touch re future flights, almost certainly not until the New Year now.
Have a great Christmas.

It often gets exciting at Waddo with a Grob Tutor doing a 'low' overshoot at 2,000ft with a line of traffic waiting at the lights, lol the look on some of the drivers faces  hahaha

Yea cheers mate, I've stopped posting updates as he has been in and out all day. I haven't got anyone who is asking for the serial and I am not a serial hunter so I've left him to his own devices. I think he is using a different transponder mode so he does not come up on mode-s at all. Only other way is to find someone who has seen him themselves or took a pic. I have a camera on the approach to 20 at Waddington and I can confirm type on it if it uses it at any point over the next few days (probably too dark now). If someone comes up with it I will post in the thread on Waddington. 99.9% its a hawk.
