Hi Al,

102 has been outside for some time, in the corner of bays 1-7 (used to be Alpha dispersal).

101/103/106 have been in and out of the hangar lately and 102 has stayed put.

Will try confirm that's still the case early next week if your making a special journey.

MIke,

I need the JAg in the fire training area aswell. So depending in what time the course finishes i will call at Barkston Heath and Cranwell for some Prefects and Phenoms if they are outside

Al,

As Mike has already stated, 102 is parked on Bay 1, on care & maintenance with 8 Sqn Eng, hasn’t moved for many months, easily seen from A15.

The Jaguar is a different matter, it is with the civilian fire training area on the other side of the A15 to the airfield, adjacent to the new air ambulance HQ. Have to admit, I’ve not seen it visible from anywhere on the A15, however Mike may be able to elaborate?

Good hunting!

FF/Al- I've never seen the Jag, even when parked on the small lane down to the fire training area, admittedly I've never walked to see if it's possible to view it - not sure how the firefighters feel with folk walking round.

Looking at it on Google - it's blocked by trees to the north west, buildings to the south, and then multiple 'crash' set ups to the east. It's smack bang in the centre of the whole thing.

I'll ask on a local group and let you know.

So the Jag is not viewable from outside, and the farmer isn't happy with people walking his fields to try and spot it sadly.

Might have to let that one go!
