Post by reaper493 » Wed Mar 23, 2022 10:44 am

Hadn't seen this until now, just had it pointed out to me, looks like the Reds are having another go at testing out one of the new proposed danger areas for two weeks.

Times are in Zulu, add 1hr for local.

Are they still practicing parts of the routine not full 9 ship display yet, probably too early in the year for that yet? Have got next week off so might bring my little boy over for an hour one day and maybe see some practicing.

Thanks
Martin

I think they're up to seven.

I've heard 1-7, 1-4 + 6-8, 1-5 + 8/9 in recent weeks.

I believe it was Red 1, 3-8 and 10 if I heard the 'gear' calls correctly.
They were told to go to the end and left, so possibly parked down the far end near Cg5.

Watched them arrive and land this morning then had to head off. Are they actually practicing over waddington all week this week?

They have the airspace reservation 8:30-17:00 Mon-Fri until the 8th, so they can use it when ever they want. Unsure if they will land at Waddo again or if they will only practice over Waddo these coming days.
