Initially on Twr freq 250.850 then switched to JFAC Jackpot 1 & 2 plus Gunshot 5 on 281.770

First Target was a Single Storey Building. Hit with a Paveway 4
Second Trget was a Taliban Bunker. Hit with Paveway 4
Third Target was a 4 man Mortar Team hiding under the Vulcan. Hit with a Paveway 4 with delayed fuse to penetrate the aircaft.
Fourth Target was a Taliban Compound. Hit with a Paveway 4 Airburst for maximum effect.

Shame about the Vulcan but the pilot did give a little chuckle to himself when he reported the Battle Damage and it was split in 2.

From your comments , taken from radio comms ? , it would seem that the Paveway 4 can be re-fused in flight, I did not know that was possible, but very cleaver. Was anybody around to see this activity, must have been pretty good. When flying simulated attacks such as this do the aircraft actually carry bombs or is it all done on the computor ?

It will all be simulated, they go through the switchology, but nothing is dropped although they may carry training shapes.

I live very close to Waddo, & that Harrier was flying some very queer tacs, as they say up here

That is the lowest I have seen an aircraft over my house, after sunset, & was also showing minimal lights.

Theres been a lot of night flying at Waddo recently, Tiffies & GR4's, & now leaping heaps, SUPERB :thumb:

Just when i moved 24 miles south earlier in the year. Annoying.
