TORNADO? at Wittering

Post by XPLUMBER » Mon Dec 05, 2011 4:39 pm

We've just been treated to one of the Coningsby(?) Tornadoes coming over Wittering from the south and performing a full burner climb from 500 feet up to about 4000 feet at 16:32!

He then headed north!

Lovely spectacle!

I saw 4 x Tonkas this afternoon in 2 pairs heading west at 14.27 over Castle Donington and nice to see. Something to do with your sighting ?

No, I suspect this was probably arranged via the old boy network, someone passing and letting a mate on the ground know! ;)

Probably all Marham Tornado GR4s, don't think Coningsby 41 Sqdn are all back home and/or up and about yet.
