First Training sortie completed

The Interim Red Air Aggressor Training Service (IRAATS) delivered its first Operational Readiness Training sortie to the Combat Air Force on 20 December. A L-159E ‘Honey Badger’ aircraft provided threat replication to a Typhoon from 41 Test and Evaluation Squadron in the training airspace over the North Sea.

Very nice pic of DKNA.

When I paid a brief visit at lunchtime on Monday 21st, G-DKND and G-DKNF were both parked out on the normal Draken flightline, in between the Falcons. Both were in the standard ex Czech AF grey scheme.

As far as I can make out, they will be hangared in the new 'Rubber' hangar that appears to be virtually complete.

At the time of a (very) brief return visit yesterday, there were no L-159s visible outside and none showing on ADS-B, so at a guess I'd say they've packed up for Christmas.

HTH

Good Evening,
Information from others today
Adsb ground ping for N256EM [ US hex A26E38, msn 156036 ] at Teesside, Draken ramp/Hangar area after mid-day
One of the last pair to be commissioned here, should take up marks G-DKNG in the light/medium grey scheme
Not sure how G-DKNH is doing for return to flight following their delivery by road in February this year
I have that one as N277EM [ US hex A2C0ED, msn 156013 ], same colour scheme
Would anyone have the actual delivery date into Teesside for these two please ?
Regards,
Paul
