Quick stop to see what was on the pan outside the “Drakens den” but didn’t stay long
I noticed there’s a lot of new warning signs gone up along the road towards the Draken Hangar.
These clearly warn of no stopping and £100 fine
Needles to say I made a quick U-turn and watched from the end of the runway
Seen taking off and on the ramp

One of our local eagle eyed enthusiasts spotted two more L-159s have been registered on the CAA G-INFO site G-DKNI and J. These must have arrived by shipping container again as two were spotted recently.

Draken managed to launch 5 of the 8 L 159s today.
The two new arrivals departed to Bournemouth by road.

3 more were delivered on Friday October 4th 2024, taking the fleet up to 13 L159E.

Can someone at Bournemouth clarify the fate of G-DKNI and J. Are they for rebuild or reduced to spares.
