Teesside Airpot Drakens

Evening All

Quick stop to see what was on the pan outside the “Drakens den” but didn’t stay long

I noticed there’s a lot of new warning signs gone up along the road towards the Draken Hangar.
These clearly warn of no stopping and £100 fine
Needles to say I made a quick U-turn and watched from the end of the runway

Seen taking off and on the ramp

Falcon 20 EW
G-FRAD/AF/AH/AJ/AL/AP/AS/AU/AW

L39
G-DKNB - 264 on nose
G-DKNE
G-DKNF

Best

One of our local eagle eyed enthusiasts spotted two more L-159s have been registered on the CAA G-INFO site G-DKNI and J. These must have arrived by shipping container again as two were spotted recently.

Draken managed to launch 5 of the 8 L 159s today.

The two new arrivals departed to Bournemouth by road.

Can someone at Bournemouth clarify the fate of G-DKNI and J. Are they for rebuild or reduced to spares.
