13/06/12 - Dauphins?

Anyone confirm the registrations of what looked like two dark blue Dauphin's at Dishforth today

are you sure they wherent AW-109's

Just a Quick thought I was AEFin at Leeiming and I had to dodge a Blue Aw-109

Hi ian531

I saw these as I passed by on the A1 North bound at 10.05am and again South bound at 14.00pm, on both sightings the Helicopter was performing a ciruit and then coming in to land just inside the base at the top corner of the airfield at the Leeming end, I could not fully read off the serials but they appeared to be civie reged, the serial being in white on the housing just below the rotor blades.

I would agree that they were Dauphins.

8 Flt have been around Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area amongst other places this week..one dropped into Beckingham Range near Sleaford :ninja:

There were three at Dishforth on Tuesday, ZJ780, ZJ781 & ZJ783.
