21st March

Post by davski » Tue Mar 22, 2011 1:22 pm

Not a log of movements but for those interested the Tucano display pilot was practising at Fenton yesterday morning, very nice too. Later in the day an Apache hovered above the airfield for a while before heading south east at low level - very nice departure. Because the airfield is open when I'm at work I rarely see the weekday trade but last week, as good fortune (a bad cold!) would have it, I also saw numerous Hawk jets, Tornado F-3 and the Cobham King Air (looked like a King AIr anyway!). Not a bad bag really!

We got the Apache over Howden, low and slow. Looked a little out of place so low over the market square. Cool though :thumb:

have the JP`s been out yet, this year.

Hello again! Not seen the JPs flying as yet but they have been out of the hangar so its reasonable to assume they've flown I guess - Spock is the man to ask, not sure he's on this forum though. The T-6 was buzzing about a few weeks ago, always nice to see (John Zemlik's old machine that used to live over at Breighton).
