WTN Radar Tests?

Post by mjm320340 » Wed Sep 22, 2021 9:47 am

Hi All,

Is WTN conducting tests on the remote radar with CBY assistance today?

I'm hearing about using GDF radar as WTN is down...presumably for maintenance?

I see 'REBEL051' - ZK379 is doing some approaches today with similar circuits to N242CV yesterday.

Just wondering

It's rebel 51, a US exchange pilot on 41sqd.

Covered in the heads up which the OP should be able to see once he's at five posts.

Comms were kept across to Scunthorpe today at 27’000 quite impressive for UHF before he dropped to 19’000 and over to Stud4 for CBY.

Anyone know what Radar coverage Great Dunn Fell actually gives comparable to WTN when working?

May be interesting to compare footprints against the circuits being performed this week.
