12:48L - ZK370(BS131)/Tarnish 10 (Typhoon FGR.4/RAF) Depart R.25. On RTB visuals downwind R.25 for T&Gs x3 (13:49L/13:51L/13:54L) then downwind to land 13:56L[/b] - 1st flight since storage, BS131 has been retained at Warton, never delivered to RAF

Delved into my dusty logs and found the following for BS131...

Flown 3 times on PFAT before acceptance/handover to MOD in Oct 2015; retained at Warton for ground trials/development work.

F/F (PFAT1) 7/8/15 flown by Tarnish 69 (1333-1438L up 1hr5);
PFAT2 13/8/15 again flown by WTN69 (1236-1336L up 1hr);
PFAT3 18/8/15 flown by Tarnish29 (1140-1324 up 1hr44).

I have no record of it flying after 18/8/15 until today...

Further to my previous post on this subject, between flt3 in Aug 2015 and the airtest/shakedown flt yesterday, it has been "airborne", but up on a plinth inside the Electronic Warfare Test Facility (EWTF) at Warton!

Arrival back via ILS at 12:26L as BAE44 carrying Qatari Delegation (Qatari Minister of State for Defence, Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah). Depart at 15:00L back to Farnborough with VIPs as BAE45. Arrival back via ILS at 18:42L as BAE46.

Vandal21 Flight depart at 15:20L (‘362 30 seconds after ‘363) performance takeoff with burners in vertical to around 11k feet before levelling off back to RAF Coningsby.

13:12L - ZR505(MS001)/Tarnish 10 (Typhoon/QEAF) Depart R.25 performance T/O for PFAT1. On RTB low approach R.07 14:05L then engaged burners in right hand turn then downwind R.25 for T&G at 14:07L then downwind to land 14:09L complete with Chute. 1st flight of Qatari Typhoon
