The runway is now part of a car track/circuit/thing, so I presume it changes depending on what layout they need.

Still some helicopter activity. Witnessed a R44 lift from the site yesterday.

It's the farm next to the mini garage up the road, not actually on the airfield itself. :thumb:

Sadly, it may be time to take Woodford off here as its pretty much a certainty that there will never be any more military traffic. Only present day relevance now is the Vulcan.

Am I right in thinking that its no longer possible to use the runway at Woodford ?
I ask because G-BWWW was up and about earlier but it now seems to be back on the ground spoofing Mode S from somewhere south of Manchester
Suspect its on the south side at Manchester....assuming Woodford is now non operational
