With this exercise starting next week, is there any supporting aircraft due into Lossie for it, as has happened in the past?

I'm guessing that's what the Italian 767, French A400 and German C130 were for.

I believe the Rafales and the AMI EF2000’s??, are for Ex Dynamic Mongoose. Are the two exercises one and the same?

Thanks that clears things up a bit. I’m I correct in saying that past Formidable Shields saw both the New Mexico ANG and 31st FW aircraft from Aviano(crewed by NM ANG)deploy with F-16’s and AQM-37 aerial targets. I believe that the AQM-37 are no longer in service, so I wonder what has taken its place?

How long is this exercise on for? Timing isn't good for me this week, but I could do with a trip up to Lossie to catch this.

F-2000A Typhoon mm7340 / 4-64 of 4 Stormo @ Grosseto
TF-2000A Typhoon mm55131 / 4-34.
Both aircraft arrived carrying two AMRAAM Missiles and also carried an Italian AF 100th Anniversary badge on the fuselage side.
Only the third visit to Lossie of Italian Typhoons, and the first by an Italian twin stick.
