Lifter1/2 were back and forward to Condor late Tuesday afternoon, confirmed visually as ZK556 and ZK560 by Chuck. Vortex 504 was a different Chinook that arrived from SW to refuel, then was directed to ASP 6 to park.(Wherever this other parking area is???), So definitely a 3rd late afternoon, that I know for sure.

The Leuchars Facebook Group may be able to help?
Interesting question for ASP 6 as only five are indicated on the AIP AD for Leuchars dated Feb 21
There was one parked on ASP 5 on Saturday, nose to the South, with a plain metal / unpainted stbd cockpit frame which I am advised was ZK554 although not read off.

ZJ221 [ 43C271 ] Machete 2, possibly/really ZJ220

The serials of the two Apaches quoted in my earlier post were both identified from photographs taken down by the beach today. So the two Apaches were positively identified as ZJ189 and ZJ220.

For anyone that was perhaps at Leuchars today, Lifter 1(Chinook) landed back @ 16.11 and taxied back to ASP 6 via Delta.

Unfortunately It is not ZJ221 as shown on the tracking sites. Positively identified as ZJ220 when it took off early evening.

Interestingly, not long after 'ZJ221' started showing over Fife on the tracking sites, another 'ZJ221' was tracking in the Norwich area. Don't think our Apaches are that fast!

One of the Lifters flew nice and low past me at approx 20:00 out the back of St Andrews. Looked great in the evening light.
