Apparently there has been a lack of funds this year so there hands have been tied in many ways.Still hoping for a site update on Wednesday.Though I do agree the static line up is probably the worst I have seen from all the airshows at leuchars over the past 30 years.

Wouldn't agree with that. All you have to do is look at what other airshows around Europe are getting as attendees, then you start to wonder just what is going on.
For the last few years I've found Leuchars lacking imagination when it comes to participants, then again so has Waddington.
As far as I know the A10's left a couple of weeks back, but is it really unimaginable to get one or two considering there based in Germany.
The airshow from my point of view is dead and if it's the last one this year then so be it.

I still think more will turn up than what is posted on there site at the moment though that is more down to hope.

Thanks for the info on the KC-135 Gazza

, I can now leave at between 5.30-6am rather than 4.30-5 & still get to see it arrive .
I'm travelling up from Carlisle & will be around until they all dep on Mon .

FAF604 sounds like a flight of 2 on London mil now 12.15 275.62 said heading for Leuchars.Did descend to 200 now climbing back up.
