I believe that it is white - note that it is only a nose section. I last saw the complete aircraft in the 1950s!

Unfortunately not unless you have a military ID card to get on camp. The Army will not allow us to take visitors to see it. Easy to see it from the Findhorn Road though.

Sorry to be controversial but the MoD and Army are being a little mean with regards Nimrod XV244. Will you guys ever be allowed to have her?

The ownership of XV244 is not an issue, she is owned and maintained by Morayvia. We as volunteers can get access to her to carry out maintenance, what we cannot do (and we have explored this extensively) is take paying public to her. Its always been that way and will remain so and we accept that, until any other options can be explored.

Hi Colin
You need to go the the old South Side Estate, the turning is on the opposite side of the road from the Kinloss Main Gate, head down towards the white houses then look across the sports field to your right, you will see our Windsock very easily, just turn right at the mini roundabout (there is also a Brown Sign) and follow the road right to the end (20MPH) and turn in to the car park.
Looking forward to you visiting
We have a policy of "If you can physically get in it, you can get in it"
