F35 Diversion 7/10

Post by np1991 » Wed Oct 07, 2020 6:46 pm

Surprised this hasn't been posted by now, anyway RAF F-35B ZM152/018 diverted into Kinloss approx 1550L and is currently parked in one of the dispersal's in the southern woods.
Cheers Niall

Thanks for the post. A first for Kinloss when we were expecting one perhaps to visit Lossie one of these days.
Hope you get good shots of it
Al

Its actually a first for any UK RAF active base even though its Kinloss Barracks, no RAF F35 has ever landed and remained at an active UK airfield except Marham until now. One did go to Lakenheath for a photo shoot last year I recall.

It's still a UK active airfield... which is what was mentioned... "no RAF F35 has ever landed and remained at an active UK airfield"... last time I checked Fairford was in the UK...

The Fairford visitor was US based at the time.

The Fairford visitor was US based (and will probably remain so for its life)
ZM137 is at Marham.

ZM137 was in the sun shellers at Marham 18th September 2020.. ZM135/136/138 are the Edwards based ones I think..
