Tornados very active

Was out walking on Sunday without any viewing stuff (unprofessional I know). Saw a Tornado making several circuits around 1 p.m, believe it might have been an F3?? Also a jet doing circuits about 11 pm last night. As the Dundee / north Fife area has had appalling weather last week, possibly some Leuchars machines have been detached??? There has been a lot of jet activity around Kinloss (not just Lossie) in the evenings in the last few weeks. Is anyone "allowed" to comment on this?
Ironic really that the one base announced as "surplus" is the one least affected by the weather in the North recently. But then it's not a rational, well-reasoned plan is it, just what you get when all three main English parties have "kids" in charge.

Sunday's tonka was a GR4, 12 Sqn were flying at the weekend to catch up on their build up for the sand pit, which is probably who you heard last night also. Many Lossie jets have been doing pds to Kinloss as the approach controller has requested them to do so for training purposes being the reason.
