Enjoyed a day of glorious weather & some nice movements, nice to meet up with Niall & Tom down at the hide :thumb:
Anyway here's a log from between 10:00 & 15:00

+ Should have a Canadian CP-140 arriving sometime soon along with a 2nd FrN Atlantique, looks like were not going to see any Italian participants though but there might be a 3rd USN P-3C!

Welcome to the hot Highlands Sam(it was 23 degrees in Inverness today),one of the other Nimrods will be XV250.
I'll come and find you at some point this week,look out for a really handsome chap in a Grey Peugeot 308 with a personalised numberplate :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :pop: :pop:

I think your last Nimrod would have been XV226 in special marks, he's parked tail-end to the hide. Now I've seen the movement times I wish I'd gone down, had enough time for the bus. Damn, haha!

Thanks for the info guys, Ill be looking out for you Mike & I have to say Ive fallen in love with Scotland, especially after the sunset Ive just photographed! And its always the way Chris, make the wrong decision at the wrong time! lol done that enough times before

Hope to meet up with you both during the week, look for a typical teenager & his dad (Neil) in a Blue Ford Fiesta ;)

Just looked back at one of the photo's & the 2x Nimrods I was un-able to read were in a Grey c/s, XV226 fits as I thought it looked like 26 but XV250 is in hemp c/s, so there was no sign of it today!

When you look across from the viewpoint there is a grey MR2 to the left of the silver hangar in front of a mound, it's probably your missing one XV252, still there last night and hasn't moved for weeks.
