Just been told that whilst Leconfield is going to be losing the SAR Sea Kings, the British Army from Germany are going to be moving in soon, so the base's future as an Army camp looks bright!

With the number of bases all supposedly getting repatriated BAOR soldiers, it seems to me that each squaddie is going to be getting a base to themselves.

watching forces tv a few weeks ago most of the Northern Army bases are getting a continual flow of new people from Germany moving in I think they mentioned 2000 new to Catterick 600 to Dishforth
