First F-35s arrive in the UK

Wednesday 29th June 2016 saw a significant milestone for the F-35 program, as the first deployment of the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II to the United Kingdom commenced with three aircraft landing at RAF Fairford, including one of the first three examples for the Royal Air Force.

Great piece, well done for getting it up so fast! One small correction, the RAF jet, BK-3 is assigned to VMFAT-501, rather than 17 Sqn.

One smaller correction. It is not a "RAF" jet. :D I'm sure the fish-heads would take offence.

Yes, very true even if Joint Lightning Force is 57% manned by the RAF.
