Palm Springs Air Museum

In 1993, a chance overflight by a P-51 Mustang led a group of four men to construct the Palm Springs Air Museum. 20 years on, the museum attracts over 100,000 visitors annually and houses a number of flightworthy aircraft. Adam Duffield takes a look at the museum for AeroResource.

Would be nice if G-FIRE was back in its red scheme though :D

Really enjoyed this Article. As per the previous post... that Spitfire paint-scheme is a joke! Even when flying in the UK. as part of the Spencer Flack trio (Hunter, Sea Fury & Spitfire) in the corporate 'Red' scheme it looked better than this. If you asked a 7 year old kid to paint a Spitfire Airfix kit...that would be it! :'(
