A problem with using Google on Chrome.
I use Chrome as my browser and have noticed today that if I type a word into Google and then click on one of the predictions that comes up below then nothing happens, can someone else check this to see if it's happening to them as well please?
It works OK on MS Edge but not on Chrome for me, have deleted browsing history, cookies etc. and rebooted but it's still not working.

Re: A problem with using Google on Chrome.
Hi,
I just checked and appears to be working ok for me. I have version 83.0.4103.106 (Official Build) (64-bit). This is the latest version of Google can be found in settings under help

Thanks, but is that the version of Google, or your PC?

I use Chrome, typed in Doncaster, clicked on Doncaster Weather from the drop down list and got 'About 4,650,000 results (0.64 seconds)'

Thanks Brian, I've just tried that and clicked on 'Doncaster weather' and nothing happens, I've not changed any settings and have never had this problem before!

Everything fine for me Mike.
Re: A problem with using Google on Chrome.
Try a right click, then "open in new tab" if that works then something has changed in your pop up blocker which comes as standard with Google

Thanks for the replies but haven't had any joy yet. I've spent ages on Google on MS Edge to try and find an answer to my problem but can only find solutions to when suggestions don't appear at all. They appear for me but nothing happens when I click on any of them when I use Google on Chrome!

Re: A problem with using Google on Chrome.
Have you tried to reload Chrome?

Thanks Brian, not yet as I only want to do that as a last resort!
The answer must be in the settings somewhere but I can't find anything that fits the issue.

Re: A problem with using Google on Chrome.
I turned on my laptop this morning and it's working properly again, very strange!
