Poor sky conditions last few nights limiting view of the arrival of OFT-2 , but Sunday
gave a fleeting glimpse of the Boeing capsule reflecting brightly at Harmony.

This evenings pass
Tue May 24, 11:10 PM 5 min 36° 10° above W 23° above SSE
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Last nights 23.06, 7 min, 84deg flyover was delightful.
For the next 10 days or so there will be many more, west to east, full high level flyovers.
Whilst they occur every 90 minutes or so, I would be here all night if I listed them all - here are some though :-
17th 22.18 + 23.54
18th 23.06
19th 22.18 + 23.54
20th 23.06

Have just enjoyed tonights 23.06 flyover for at least 6 of the scheduled 7 minutes.

Whilst waiting I noted, at 23.04, a 3 ship of presumably helicopters flying south from Holbeach area - will have to track them down.

Good pass of ISS this evening , 2135 GMT as Axiom-2 launched.

About twenty minutes later Axiom-2 appeared about 30 degs elevation
,rather fast and quite bright [Mag-1]
I trained the scope on the object and when looking at the many frames
captured saw that in fact two objects were visible [ second object not
seen naked eye or through the finder scope]

ISS seen here , about 2140 GMT approx 1,000 km downrange

Image

Axiom-2 and second object close by here

Presumably this was second stage which had been ejected a few minutes before.

"Daylight" pass last evening but a bright ISS was quite easy to see and the above shows the target about 1000km downrange with AX-2 docked
