Very sad, beautiful lady, 😔 ..
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Beautiful, talented & brave through to the last. In commenting on her illness in 2019, she said: "You can be a victim, or you can be a winner and enjoy your life.".... Mission complete! :thumb:

Losing too many good people these days. Oddly enough, the same words were said to me 11 years ago when I had serious cancer. I decided on the latter.....successfully. Two lovely voices and nice people in a few days. Sad.

Heard about this on the news and when her name was mentioned I had a horrible foreboding and was shocked to be honest as I didn't know she had been fighting cancer for 30 years.

A beautiful person so full of life

Back to basics, the essential collection.

Sad news and an end to an era.
Yesterday’ news, too. Helen Reddy died about 18 months ago. Not forgotten.
The good news is that Carole King is still with us.
