F1 2025
Re: F1 2025
Very difficult to discipline someone who doesn't give a damn about peoples opinions. He would just walk away if it suits him [and probably will, and the sooner the better!!.]
Re: F1 2025
Don't forget also that the RB21 is the last RedBull car designed by Adrian Newey.
Could well be top of the middle next year.
MV acting like a child, may just leave because he's no longer driving a Rocketship.

Re: F1 2025
Ironically for Mad Max he didn't have to give the place back to George after taking to the escape road. Red Bull preempted the stewards decision by instructing Max to give the place back which lit the blue touch paper in his head.
"The stewards' verdict was published some time after the race. It said that Russell had "momentarily lost control of the car and collided" with Verstappen, who "did not deliberately leave the track". As a result, it said, they took no further action."

Re: F1 2025
It's outrageous to drop the Italian grand prix! All for another boring street race. One day they will drop Silverstone for a race round London, just wait and see.
Re: F1 2025
Imola isn't the Italian Grand Prix, that's Monza. Although odd that they say that Imola isn't suitable for modern cars. But a street track is apparently.

All street tracks should be scrapped.

Well, T1 tomorrow will be spicy

Re: F1 2025
Testing
Longer street circuits would make for better racing for the current high powered cars coupled with a staggered start based on lap time differential.
A 10mile lap around central Paris’s boulevards would be interesting and lucrative for F1.

Re: F1 2025
Oh dear, Lando. I think you might have demoted yourself to No.2 Driver by yourself! Can’t see Oscar doing anything wrong there. Lando should’ve know that was not on.
Re: F1 2025
AFAIA, the rules say you are supposed to leave a cars width. Plus the golden rule is you don't hit your team mate. They've both got to take the blame for that one. Potentially ruined the end of a pretty dull race!

Re: F1 2025
Lando is very quick, but he needs to be a bit more mature in his driving in order to become a World Champion. Too many mistakes.
Re: F1 2025
Agreed. Not sure who's cost themselves the most wins, him or Leclerc!

Re: F1 2025
Why should he have left a car’s width? Wasn’t even alongside

Re: F1 2025
Red Bull have lodged a complaint against Russell due to “Erratic braking” under the Safety Car - Which to be fair he did almost come to a complete stop.
