I read in yesterday's Lancashire Post an e.bike rider knocked down a pedestrian. The guy was in court for not having a licence or insurance. I've written a letter to said paper saying what a surprise; and it probably didn't have an instrument of warning either.
Hasn't anyone else noticed how many of these pests are often takeaway delivery drivers and especially those using small c.c. motorbikes have L plates; of course they've no insurance. The whole lot need checking out and banning.
The e.bike involved was confiscated.

On the subject of takeaway deliveries, we get a lot around the area we live in, cars as well as mopeds etc, I can't imagine they have business insurance
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

no Pune, they won't declare it on their in insurance and if they have to make a claim it will get thrown out and insurance will be cancelled.

Have had a notice to say new policy on way.Email indicates some of the inclusions. If I take it up apparently I will be able to claim £500 a day if injuries are sustained should an assault by arise due to an accident.Never heard of that one and £500 seems a lot.Ssuspect maybe a typo.
Forgot to add this earlier..Called company to say I would take offer and got a couple extras which were to be in the next promotion and another 30 quid off.

Suits me.
