I know benefit claimants who are genuine , but also know ones who say “I can barely walk” or can’t sit for long periods of time “ yet they go on walking holidays and travel 10-12 hours on a plane a couple of times a year!! I’m not trying to get into any argument on here but some people are just so arrogant about it , as if they’re untouchable.

I see both sides.
There are those who rely on benefits to survive
And others who play the system
It's just the nature of the game and runs on the same principal as wrongful convictions. Some times some are going to slip through the cracks because people are imperfect by nature
Problem is the cracks are massive and could do with some refining to make sure we aren't handing out benefits to those that could work.
In doing so, we will probably accidentally block people who did genuinely need the benefits
Sad nature of life really

….and that’s the whole point, they aren’t the only ones that are doing it whether illegally or finding some loopholes that they can, do and have exploited. Those that are genuinely entitled(not that I think anyone is entitled to anything), will still get. Ok they may have to claim harder but so be it. The only ones I hear that moan and groan are the ones that aren’t entitled and know fine well they won’t be able to prove their disablement and the fear of having to do a days work is horrifying.
