Eagles are doing London, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow in June and I've just heard the Manics are playing Leeds in April. What, with those gigs, my holidays and the Commonwealth Games (got tickets for the 100m finals!) as well as any aviation trips I can swing, yes it's going to be an expensive (but enjoyable) year.. :P

Not music related but 'Skywatcher' I think your handle is a much better name for the new RAF Boeing EC-135 rather than 'Rivet Joint' or 'Airseeker'........

That's them, still gigging, and really decent blokes.

Gary,

£75 a throw, 3rd tier in the arena but smack bang central in front of the stage. Also toying with the idea of going to see the 'Quo for a pre-Christmas treat............ :P

Went to see the truly brilliant Editors at Rock City, Nottingham last night  with British Sea Power doing a great support set despite them suffering with poor vocal sound quality.

Nice to see Rock City having / had some work done since my last visit in 2011

Won't get much mentioned apart from on the music websites, but Benjamin Curtis from School of Seven Bells and other band died yesterday at the age of 35. School of Seven Bells had three pretty good albums, well worth checking out. Saw SVIIB back in 2009, thought they had a bright future :(
