Sorry Steve just seen your post. Nope no roadie this timestevep22 wrote:Good stuff. He provides the two numbers I do if called upon for Karaoke 'Still Rock and Roll' and 'You may be right'![]()
Did his guitar roadie come on for a cover of AC/DC's 'Highway to Hell' ?

Hoping to get ticket for the Eagles tour

Re: Music thread
Eagles are doing London, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow in June and I've just heard the Manics are playing Leeds in April. What, with those gigs, my holidays and the Commonwealth Games (got tickets for the 100m finals!) as well as any aviation trips I can swing, yes it's going to be an expensive (but enjoyable) year..

Re: Music thread
Can't go wrong with The Foo Fighters,U2,The Jam,Manic Street Preachers,Pink Floyd on fact most guitar based Rock although I do have guilty pleasures :")

I can completely agree with above post as in fact I've been lucky enough to see the foo fighters live in Milton Keynes in 2011 what a gig that was ,just simply epic

Not music related but 'Skywatcher' I think your handle is a much better name for the new RAF Boeing EC-135 rather than 'Rivet Joint' or 'Airseeker'........
Re: Music thread
Just got back from seeing The National at Alexandra Palace, simply stunning 2 hours of pure brilliance

Re: Music thread
Gary,
£75 a throw, 3rd tier in the arena but smack bang central in front of the stage. Also toying with the idea of going to see the 'Quo for a pre-Christmas treat............

Re: Music thread

Went to see the truly brilliant Editors at Rock City, Nottingham last night

Nice to see Rock City having / had some work done since my last visit in 2011
Re: Music thread
Won't get much mentioned apart from on the music websites, but Benjamin Curtis from School of Seven Bells and other band died yesterday at the age of 35. School of Seven Bells had three pretty good albums, well worth checking out. Saw SVIIB back in 2009, thought they had a bright future
