Unfair website

I am now going to stare up a hornets nest. I was a member of the website Milcom frequency site. I was taken off becouse of not posting enough info onto it. It is one of its daft rules that you post a certain amount of info, which if you are new to scanning you would not know about. The site itself is a great resource, but when you join it is by invite Only. Now when milscanners were on the web, it was not a problem, and the info was free to all, what changed?. Most freuencies are obtained by web search or other related frequency sites, and all FREE. I feel it is unfair that if you are not clued up on scanning or frequencies, you are thrown off the Milcom site. My surgestion is to join the site and send your frequency list to MILCOM over and OVER again, until they are sick of it and they cannot kick you off.
Other than this try other websites which give a better service for FREE, than an a Exclusive for admistrators who think they are better than their members. Any comment welcome, without swearing, and to MILCOM, good luck in LOOSING more members in the future, becouse of your daft rules.

Actually Airfixpilot, we haven't lost anyone, we've REMOVED them
And the people that are there are more than happy with the still FREE service they obtain
Life isn't fair, but life is full of rules - and you didn't comply with the ones associated with MilCom
It's not like there weren't any warnings. There's a rules page for starters. Then there were three or four warnings about removal
I wish I was a multi-millionaire, but I'm not - but you don't see me whining and whinging to Lord Sugar about it
As the saying goes - You're fired
p.s- it isn't a frequency site by the way, that's just an attachment to the FORUM. You see, that's where the problem lies, people joined for free for the very good database, but felt they didn't need to contribute to it. Go find another one, I'm sure you won't be missed

Pot kettle springs to mind......
Airfixpilot - there is a wealth of information on this site, and plenty of helpful members with frequencies galore to help you out. You don't need to contribute if you don't wish to either, as most decent and proper aviation enthusiasts will always help each other without holding them to ransom with demands.

Dunna worry David There are lots of sites around you can get information from. This site being one of them.
It all depends on what you want from it.

David,
I think you may have a case to go to the European court of human rights!
Joking apart.
Just chill out, let it go...
Sound familiar?
To everyone else, there are members which participate in all forums!
They work very hard & take time out to help others,
This applies to both FC & other forums including Milcom!
Some continuously bang on that Milcom appears to be an elite members only club.
Give it a break for Pete's sake
There are rules you sign upto, just like on FC, the way they are implemented are the same.
Stick to the rules you stay in....
Break the rules you are out!
Simples as Alexander meerkat may utter
If you happen to get invited feel very privelidged
Its a fantastic resource with some very helpful members.

Airfixpilot, you say you now use sites which give a better service than MILCOM, I'm glad to see you've found somewhere "FREE" that suits your needs better, but last time I checked, there was no charge to use MILCOM, all you needed to do to remain a member was to contribute a little.... That was the rule when you signed up and still is today.......Simple eh.
If you are so happy with the "better" sites, then why the heck you are so upset and bitter about being removed from MILCOM is beyond me!

I have a hornet's nest which is inside the shed but out of reach as it's quite high up - I have spent all day staring at the little blighters but all they do is gather around the entrance of their little palace and stare back at me with their little peepers. Perhaps tomorrow I will stir them up a little instead and see what happens.
