Kimi Raikkonen F1

Post by Skywatcher » Fri Sep 03, 2021 3:55 pm

As some of you may have seen it was announced that the 2007 F1 WC 🏆 Kimi Raikkonen is to retire at the end of the season ,after racing for initially Sauber ,McLaren-Mercedes,Ferrari (07 World Title) and in between some rallying for two years before returning to the Lotus Team and then Ferrari for second spell (alongside Sebastian Vettel) and then Alfa Romeo Sauber
Not many drivers around that have the personality of Kimi (who pretty much will say it as it is or not much at all in Kimi’s case (he is known for not talking too much in interviews)
But he is a legend in my eyes at least ,and should have had at least one more world championship.
They don’t make them like Kimi any more (famous quotes such as ‘leave me alone I know what I am doing ) would not be acceptable any more and one would get in to trouble but Kimi has a way of saying it .
All the best Iceman for a well deserved retirement
Have a look here at Kimi’s greatest hits...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r-AzOrSwRVs

If only we had an F1 thread for F1 related topics... ;)

A shame he's going yes, but he's currently occupying a slot that a driver with more future potential could be using. Slightly odd they've chosen to get rid of Giovanazzi as well mind!
